Comprehensive Career Awareness Programme (CCAP)
A District TVET Intelligence platform that integrates a learner’s journey from a psychometric-driven entry point through skilling to livelihood, for a lifetime. This includes:
- Mapping district level focus sectors and employment demand
- Mapping and rating TVET institutions to unlock market forces (Skill Universities, Polytechnics, Diploma Courses, Training Institutes, etc)
- Mapping micro-enterprise opportunities and jobs
- District level intelligence, rolling up to State and National level over time
Why it matters
Manufacturing has to scale 12x by 2047. The demand already seems real. What's missing is the connective tissue between district-level skill demand, TVET institutions, and student awareness, even though there is a lot of activity (and noise) happening at every level.
impact
Turning India's ~60 lakh annual school dropouts (only 7-14L of whom find a path via ITIs) into micro-entrepreneurs and skilled earners, and turning them from "dropouts" to "passouts" in the national statistic & mindset.
